Lori Weitzner

Lori Weitzner draws inspiration from many different sources. Her most important inspirations, however, are the forms, structures and colors of nature. She is also strongly influenced by the foreign cultures she encounters on her many travels...the objects of art and artifacts made by human hands and the "spirit" they hold.

 

Taking from this wide sphere of influence, Weitzner creates an extraordinary synthesis of traditional and contemporary aesthetics; combining subtle, yet very different materials along with the desire to explore new visual frontiers. Her designs are known for having a sophisticated color palette, intricate, dimensional textures, and a lyrical, painterly approach to pattern.
