Distribution of its fine-quality upholstery and drapery fabrics is handled through a network of independent trade showrooms located in the country's major design centers, plus Bergamo's own company-owned showroom in the D&D building in New York City. Founded in 1956 by Walter Easton, Bergamo Fabrics began producing its fabrics domestically in a New York-based mill, then started to import selective fabrics from Sahco and Rubelli. Today Bergamo is headed by Crans Baldwin and represents the entire collections of Sahco and Rubelli.
