ULF MORITZ RELEASES HIS FIRST BOOK; “FASCINATION TEXTILE”

Summer 2007; the award winning textile designer Ulf Moritz releases his first book entitled “Fascination Textile”. Encompassing his intriguing career spanning over 40 years, this beautiful 184 page illustrated book captures his life’s work as a textile and industry designer.

As the creative director of the world renowned textile house Sahco Hesslein, Ulf Moritz’s avant-garde textile collections embellish the homes and public spaces through-out the world. Represented in the United States by Bergamo Fabrics, Inc. his fabrics have become favorites of many of the high end industry design leaders.

His creativity and talent have been honored with many awards. In 2003 he was chosen as Designer of the Year by the German magazine “Architedktur & Wohnen”. Followed in 2004 with the award by Elle Décor magazine for two of his designs created that year. Selected by all 19 editions of the Elle Décor global network, designer Ulf Moritz from Sahco won first place for fabric design for his fabrics ‘Dragon’ and ‘Ponpon.’
