Important information from Bergamo Fabrics

Dear valued Bergamo Client,

If you have seen the news on television, read the newspaper, or looked at the news on the internet, you are no doubt aware that the euro has risen dramatically against the dollar. In addition, fuel prices have skyrocketed. Both of these have affected Bergamo Fabrics. As you know, we are a company that imports the finest European fabrics available and ships them to you FedEx in 3 days. We work very hard to bring truly luxurious designs to the design market in America, and have been doing so successfully for nearly 60 years.

We are therefore, reluctantly, going to have to have our first mid-year price increase. It will average 8%, with many fabrics lower than that if possible. It will take effect July 1, 2008. All shippable orders received prior to that date will be honored at the old price. We regret having to take this action, but find it unfortunately necessary.
