FALL 2005
– On October 15, Rubelli presented the first performance of Mitridate at Gran Teatro la Fenice in Venice to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of its President, Alessandro Favaretto Rubelli. After a fire reduced to ashes Venice's treasured Fenice opera house in 1996, Rubelli donated all the textile decorations of the grand Sale Apollinee.

WINTER/SPRING 2005
– In January, at the Louvre Museum in Paris, Sahco Hesslein honored its long-time Creative Director Mr. Alexander Lohr with a party and testimonial. Alexander, who officially retired at the end of last year, worked as the Creative Director for Sahco for over three decades, and was very instrumental in creating the successful company that Sahco has become. Selected by all 19 editions of the Elle Décor global network, designer Ulf Moritz from Sahco won first place for fabric design for his fabrics ‘Dragon’ and ‘Ponpon.’ The International Design awards will be presented in Milan at the Furniture Fair in May 2004. – Sahco designer Ulf Moritz was awarded the 2003 Architektur & Wohnen Designer Of The Year Award. Each year since 1996, Architektur & Wohnen magazine has recognized a single designer whose creations have made a dramatic impact on the world of interior design. Architektur & Wohnen presented the award to Ulf Moritz on January 12th with a gala evening at the Galerie Schuppenhauer.
